When my twins Emma and Jake visited Poland on high school trip in the spring of 2014, I had no idea The Shift – translated into Polish – was about to land on bookshelves throughout Poland.

And in June, I talked via Skype with Ania Wendzikowska, anchor of Poland’s version of Good Morning America, Dzień Dobry TVN. And judging from her questions, Polish women (and no doubt men) face the same issues when it comes to losing weight as Americans do. Ania asked if I had any plans to visit Poland and I said that based on my kids’ terrific reviews of Warsaw, I hope as soon as possible.
