Nothing makes me smile more broadly than when I’m in an airport or the grocery store and someone says, “Hey, you’re that job lady on TV!” And while I’m honored to have that label, at my core the label reads “entrepreneur.” 

When I started my business from the corner of my bedroom in New York with my twin babies crawling around the apartment, I had one simple goal: I wanted to make a decent living to help support my family. Yet since founding Women For Hire in 1999, I’ve been a proud small business owner—one of only 3% of women-owned businesses in this country that break the $1 million revenue barrier every year by multiples. Running a successful business that has helped so many people with their career advancement—and fueled my own success—has been my greatest professional accomplishment.

Now my babies are growing up, and I help other women to find the clarity and confidence to achieve their greatest career success. For many, that means reaching major financial milestones and celebrating WOW moments.
