I love bagels, but they don’t love me.
So my friend Karen Pickus, the Good Morning America food stylist and a highly accomplished chef who would attract lines around the block if she ever opened a restaurant, surprised me one day with a flaxseed “bagel” that she created. Very low carb, of course.
Since then, my husband Peter has made it for me several times, including often surprising me with this treat as breakfast in bed.
